Mittaghorn 3143m Via Ferrata
First opened in 2004, this via ferrata sits dead smack in the middle of 13 4000m peaks. It is an easy to mid-level via ferrata that offers an exciting mix of hiking, scrambling and adventure for everyone. The starting point is the Morenia halfway station. An easy hike leads us to the actual via ferrata. A well-developed route takes us right up to the cross on the summit. The Mittaghorn is well-known for its breathtaking views. The 360 degree view offers unforgettable vistas of the majestic 4000m peaks of the Allalin, Mischabel and Weissmies groups. The town of Saas Fee with its lush green fields and meadows lie at your feet. This tour is also well suited for larger groups and families. Full instruction, including the use of of the via ferrata equipment will be provided.
