Seasonairs - Avalanche Course

Are you working in the Saas Valley this season and keen to step into the backcountry—confidently and safely?
Join our no-nonsense avalanche course designed for seasonairs who ski or ride on their days off and want the skills to make smart calls beyond the slopes.

The theoretical part includes avalanche knowledge, assessment of the avalanche danger, reading the avalanche bulletin, tour planning. In the practical part in the ski area we make observations in the terrain and snow, applying the theory in the field, avalanche transceiver training and handling of emergency equipment.

Dates: 18. & 19. December 2025

Program:

• 18 December, 17:00 - 20:00: Theorie session (+drinks & nibbles)
• 19 December: On-snow practical in the Saas-Fee ski resort

• Strong red-run skiers/snowboarders. No touring experience required.
• Bring your avalanche equipment (transceiver, shovel and probe) or rent it with us, skis/snowboard (no touring equipment required)
