| If the weather ruins your skiing or hiking plans or if
you’re looking to get away from the skiing crowds,
consider the Gorge Alpine. It is the most spectacular
way of getting from Saas-Fee to Saas-Grund. The
well-constructed via ferrata (fixed rope route) leads
through a canyon deeply covered in snow and past
bizarre ice sculptures and frozen waterfalls. Steel
ropes, ladders and hanging bridges facilitate the
climb.
You may experience some slight tingling during the
highlights, like when you’re abseiling on the freeswinging
Nepali bridge. You’ll be rewarded with unforgettable
impressions. All participants are fitted
with a helmet, climbing belt, and a fixed rope climbing
harness for securing yourself to the steel ropes.
The Gorge Alpine is the event for groups, clubs and
families. |
