The Mischabel hut is the starting point here as well. Take the same trail as the one to the Nadelhorn and then climb to the Windjoch at 3850m. From here you can reach the summit over a soft snow ridge. A bench at the summit invites you to while away a few minutes and enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of the mountains.

Strahlhorn 4190m from Britanniahütte Strahlhorn
Ascent: 6 hrs
Descent: 3,5 hrs
Price per person: 335.- CHF (min. 3 Pers.)
Leave the Britannia hut in the early hours of the morning. The trail initially leads you over the Hohlaub glacier and then over the long, drawn out Allalin glacier to the Adler Pass (3789m). Just 400m to go and you’re at the summit. Here you can enjoy a view beyond compare over the eastern face of the Monte Rosa, the highest in the Alps. The descent is via the same route.

Descent: 3 hrs
Price per person: 290.- CHF (min. 3 Pers.)

Dom 4545m from Domhütte Dom
The Dom hut will be rebuilt in the summer of 2012. For this reason the Saas-Fee mountain guide office organizes no tours up to the Dom.
Ascent: 6 hrs
Descent: 3 hrs
Price per person: 425.- CHF (min. 3 Pers.)
After spending the night in the Dom hut, the trail leads you over glacier moraines and the Festi glacier in the early morning, until it finally reaches the foot of the Festijoch. After a short climb, you cross the Festijoch and reach the Hohberg glacier. After an initially flat then steep route you can climb to the highest summit completely on Swiss soil: the Dom. From here all the surrounding mountains appear dwarf-like. The descent is via the same route.
